Saudi Arabia: Full vaccination required to attend events and use public transport


Saudi Arabia’s Interior Ministry reiterated on Friday that full COVID-19 vaccination is required to enter public and private institutions, attend school and use public transport.

Citing an official source in the ministry, he said the decision is based on what health authorities have submitted on what has been proven by relevant national and international scientific authorities of the importance of supplementing doses of the approved vaccine to control the spread of disease. virus, especially variant strains.

The two doses of approved vaccines are needed to attend any economic, commercial, cultural, recreational, sporting or tourist event, visit any government or private establishment, and get on planes and get all public transportation.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has confirmed 45 new cases of COVID-19 and 48 recoveries in the Kingdom, in the past 24 hours.

The ministry also reported three new deaths, bringing the death toll in the Kingdom to 8,719.
