PM Modi’s pitch in Uttarakhand

Confident that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will return to power in Uttarakhand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday voters were voting for people with good intentions. The Prime Minister said large numbers of people turned out to vote in the first phase of Uttar Pradesh’s elections held yesterday.

“After the first phase of polling in UP yesterday, it is clear that the BJP will win with record numbers. More than us, the people are determined to bring back the BJP government. Voters never leave the side of those with good intentions.

“There were people who said it would be difficult to build roads in the mountains. However, today not only the roads but the Dhami government has also provided rail connectivity in these areas. PM Modi added.

“Projects worth Rs 17,000 crores were inaugurated recently in the state. The Char Dham all weather road will benefit the Tanakpur-Pithoragarh section. In the 2022 budget, we proposed the “Parvatmala program” to build cable cars for hilly areas. We will build modern roads and transport infrastructure in the state,” he added.

Prime Minister Modi said, “Infrastructure development in border villages of the state is BJP’s priority, people will benefit from Parvatmala, Vibrant Village projects. The development of Uttarakhand is one of the main priorities of the dual engine government. »

The Manas Khand tourist circuit will be developed in Kumaon of Uttarakhand as a priority in the next 5 years, he added.
